Inside Skokie Pickledilly: Chicago’s Hottest New Indoor Pickleball Hub Opens With 11 Pickleball Courts

Chicago’s Hottest New Indoor Pickleball Hub: A new indoor pickleball facility called Skokie Pickledilly is now open at 4919 Main Street in Skokie, Illinois. Co-founders Armi Cachila and Lauren Busey launched the idea after realizing there were few places to play when cold weather hit. With help from Nathan Cachila and Amy Lillibridge, they turned a simple thought into a full-time plan. Today, the facility offers 11.5 indoor courts and a warm, welcoming space for pickleball players of all levels.

Built by Players, for Players

The idea for Pickledilly started on an outdoor pickleball court on a cold day. Armi Cachila and Lauren Busey wondered where they and others could play when it got too cold outside. They brought in their spouses, Nathan Cachila and Amy Lillibridge, to help.

Together, they began planning a place for the community to play indoors. After searching, they found the right location next to Sketchbook Brewing Company in Skokie. From there, their vision became real.

Location and Features

Skokie Pickledilly is located inside the same building as Sketchbook Brewing Company. It sits between the Skokie Swift and the North Shore Bicycle Trail. The spot is close to downtown Skokie and just a short drive from Chicago.

The facility offers 11.5 indoor courts and is designed to meet the needs of all skill levels. Whether someone is just starting or already a strong competitor, the courts are top quality and the environment is full of energy.

Open to All, with Membership Perks

Pickledilly works on a membership model, but non-members are also welcome to play. Members get discounts on court reservations, lessons, leagues, and items from the on-site ProShop. Their “Powered by Pickleball Central” ProShop offers demo paddles and gear for every level of player.

A Growing Community Space

Pickledilly is more than just a sports center—it’s also a place to build friendships and community. The founders wanted more than courts. They created a space where people can connect and grow together through the game.
