AARP Wyoming and Piklr! are working together to host two free pickleball open house events on Sunday, June 22. The events will take place at Piklr!, a commercial pickleball facility located at 3741 East Lincolnway in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Free Sessions and Coaching Available
There will be two pickleball sessions on June 22 for people to attend:
- 10 to 11:45 a.m.
- 12:15 to 2 p.m.
Both sessions are free and open to everyone. No prior pickleball experience is needed. These events are meant for beginners and experienced players.
Each session includes free coaching from trained instructors. They will explain the rules, scoring, and basic strategies. All equipment will be provided, including paddles and balls.
Participants should wear clean shoes with non-marking soles. Those attending can also learn about AARP Wyoming’s health and activity programs.
Learn, Play, and Win
Along with playing, guests can learn how staying active helps with healthy aging and better brain health. AARP Wyoming will be there to share helpful resources.
Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing. One lucky person will win a pickleball starter kit worth $500. It includes:
- A pickleball backpack
- A paddle
- A pair of K-Swiss shoes

- A sleeve of balls
- A one-month membership
