Pickleball Fever Hits The Woodlands: Discover the Hottest Pickleball Courts and Clubs for Every Player

Woodlands’ Pickleball Courts and Clubs: Pickleball is rising in The Woodlands, Texas, with several indoor and outdoor courts now open across the area. As the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., pickleball has seen a 311 percent rise in players over the last three years, with young adults aged 25 to 34 leading the trend. New courts and clubs are opening to meet this growing demand, offering players of all skill levels a variety of places to enjoy the sport.

The Sport & Fitness Industry Association reports that 2.3 million players between the ages of 25 and 34 are now playing pickleball. But the game isn’t just for the young—it welcomes people of all ages. In The Woodlands, several facilities now provide places to learn, compete, or just have fun.

PALA Pickleball

PALA Pickleball is a large indoor facility with 11 courts that are air-conditioned, making it ideal for hot Texas days. It also has eight outdoor courts.

The center offers open play, leagues, clinics, drills, and tournaments. Kids can also join summer camps for ages 7 to 18. PALA Pickleball is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Woodlands Woodcourt Padel

The Woodlands Woodcourt Padel has three outdoor courts. It offers space for different skill levels and plans to start hosting tournaments soon. This paddle club is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Ace Pickleball Club

Located in Magnolia, Ace Pickleball Club offers indoor courts with professional-quality cushioned surfaces. New players can join a free beginner clinic called Pickleball 101. Open play is available every day without needing to book in advance. Memberships are available and include unlimited open play, social events, tournaments, and clinics.

Pickleball World Club

Pickleball World Club focuses on creating a welcoming community for all skill levels. Players can enjoy social nights, lessons, tournaments, and clinics. Its outdoor courts are surrounded by nature. The club is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Era Pickleball

Era Pickleball, located off Sawdust Road, has eight indoor courts. Owners Christian Tejada and Rob Rhett started the facility after discovering a love for the game while playing in their driveway.

The facility offers open play, organized play, leagues, and a champions’ series. Era is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Racquet Center at The Woodlands Country Club

The Racquet Center at The Woodlands Country Club includes four indoor and four outdoor pickleball courts. This private club has league play, social events, lessons, and clinics for all ages.

There’s also a pro shop with paddles for sale or demo use. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Community Fieldhouse

At the Community Fieldhouse, visitors can eat and play pickleball in one location. The indoor multi-sport space has nine indoor courts and an outdoor court near the patio. Equipment is available to rent for $40 per hour for one court or $140 per hour for three. Open play hours are also available.
