Steamboat’s Free Pickleball Open House: The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex will host a free Open House event on Sunday, June 1, from noon to 4 p.m. The event invites people of all ages to enjoy free tennis and pickleball activities, meet the staff, win prizes, and enjoy food and drinks. No registration is needed, but players should bring court shoes.
Activities and Schedule
From noon to 2 p.m., 20 pickleball courts will be open for free play. Then, from 2 to 3 p.m., there will be a special pro exhibition match between tennis and pickleball players. After the match, from 2 to 4 p.m., the pickleball courts will be open again for open play.
What to Expect
Meg Tully, Executive Director, said, “Stop by to learn more about summer camps for kids and tennis and pickleball events for all ages. Meet staff, enjoy free court time, prizes, and food. Everyone is invited, so come kick off summer with us.” The event is designed to introduce the community to the sports, provide fun activities, and share information about upcoming programs.
