Beginner Adult Pickleball Classes: A beginner pickleball class for adults will be held every Tuesday from June 3 to June 24, 2025, at North Creek Pickleball Courts in Montgomery Village, Maryland. The one-hour lessons run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are led by Karl Van Neste, a PPR-certified instructor.
Intro to the Game
The weekly class is designed for adults who are new to the game or want to build a stronger foundation. Participants will learn important skills such as strokes, serves, dinks, footwork, and the official rules.
Instructor Karl Van Neste will use drills and doubles play to help students improve their technique and build confidence on the court.
What Is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that mixes parts of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use paddles to hit a plastic ball with holes over a net.
Balls and paddles will be provided during the class, making it easy for beginners to join without needing their equipment.
