Ludlow Hill Park Opens New Pickleball Courts and Surprising Upgrades

Ludlow Hill Park Unveils New Pickleball Courts: Two new pickleball courts and one new tennis court are now open at Ludlow Hill Park in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The City of Lawrenceburg announced the project’s completion this week, marking a big step in upgrading local recreation facilities as pickleball grows more popular.

More Courts, More Options for Residents

To make room for the new pickleball courts, the City of Lawrenceburg removed one existing tennis court. Now, visitors to Ludlow Hill Park can enjoy tennis and pickleball on brand-new surfaces.

The decision to add pickleball courts reflects the rising demand for the sport across the community. In a continued effort to support the sport, the City also plans to build additional courts at Todd Creech Memorial Park in 2025.

More Improvements Coming in 2025

Ludlow Hill Park is also getting a walking trail this year. The new path will help people access the park without a car. The trail will start from Bellaire Drive and link to both ponds inside the park.

Right now, the only way to enter Ludlow Hill Park is by vehicle. The walking trail will provide a safer and more eco-friendly way for residents to visit the park.
