Jackson Rotary Pickleball Tournament Promises Prizes, Food, and Community Spirit This May

Jackson Rotary Pickleball Tournament: The Jackson Breakfast Rotary is hosting Rotary Day in the Park and a pickleball tournament on Saturday at Cascades Park, starting at 8 a.m. The event will feature 2-player team pickleball round-robin play, snacks, hot dogs, and an ice cream truck. Registration costs $35 per player, with cash prizes for first and second place.

The event aims to bring the community together while offering fun activities. Barb Southwell and Al Mellinger spoke with A.M. Jackson host Marc Daly about the event. Al Mellinger shared that the goal is for this to become an annual event focused on community involvement.

The Jackson Breakfast Rotary hopes to make a positive impact locally and beyond. Attendees interested in learning more can get information at the event. The group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 8 a.m. at Steve’s Ranch. This event offers a day full of fun and sportsmanship while supporting the community.

Fun and Games at Rotary Day in the Park

The pickleball tournament features a round-robin format for teams of two. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to join. Alongside the games, there will be snacks, hot dogs, popcorn, and treats from an ice cream truck to keep everyone refreshed.
