Indian Lake Pickleball’s Grand Opening: The Indian Lake Pickleball Committee will host a grand opening for its new six-court pickleball complex at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20. The courts are located at Oldfield Beach. The event will celebrate the area’s growing interest in outdoor activities and provide free fun for all.
The celebration is open to the public. It will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live demonstration games, beginner clinics, and free refreshments. No registration is needed to attend, and community members are invited to bring their paddles and play.
Event Schedule and Activities
The opening event will include several fun and welcoming activities. The ceremony begins with local officials and leaders cutting the ribbon. This will be followed by matches from local players and instructors. Beginners can join free lessons to learn the basics of the game.

The project was a group effort. It was led by the Indian Lake Pickleball Committee, with help from the Indian Lake Development Corporation and Indian Lake State Park.
