Murfreesboro Rallies for Record-Breaking Pickleball Social at Middle Tennessee State University—What Made This Event Unforgettable?

Pickleball Social at Middle Tennessee State University: The Middle Tennessee State University men’s tennis team, led by head coach Jimmy Borendame, hosted a pickleball social on Sunday evening at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro. The event welcomed 92 participants and raised money to support the university’s men’s tennis program.

Strong Community Turnout

People from across Murfreesboro joined in the fun, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The event mixed tennis supporters with pickleball players for a good cause. Among those present were Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland, Ashley McFarland, John Jones, and former Middle Tennessee State University standout Chris Edge.

Ashley McFarland and John Jones helped make the event possible. Their companies, Ashley McFarland Aesthetics and John Jones Real Estate, served as title sponsors.

Coach Shares His Thanks

Jimmy Borendame was thrilled with the support and praised everyone involved.
