Nebraska NetFest 2025: The Nebraska Sports Council has opened registration for the 2025 Nebraska NetFest Singles & Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament, scheduled for October 17–19 at the Kearney SportsPlex in Kearney. The pickleball event welcomes players aged 16 and older for singles and mixed doubles competition across multiple divisions.
Tournament Details and Format
The tournament begins Friday, October 17, at 5:30 p.m. with open singles. Mixed doubles matches will follow on October 18 and 19. All players and teams will first compete in pool play before entering the final tournament rounds.
Divisions are capped at 12 entries, and early registration is encouraged. Final schedules will be emailed to players by October 13. Winners in each division will receive custom Nebraska NetFest Pickleball medals for first, second, and third place finishes.

The event is hosted by the Kearney SportsPlex and the City of Kearney Park and Recreation Department. It is sponsored by Visit Kearney and AKRS Equipment / John Deere.
Nebraska NetFest is managed by the Nebraska Sports Council, a non-profit group that supports amateur athletics and promotes active living. Additional support comes from platinum partners including FMNE Insurance, Grand Island Tourism, Nebraska Orthopaedic Center, and Pepsi-Cola of Lincoln.
