The American Pickleball Series will host its 2025 Summer Showdown tournament from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, at 11 Clubhouse Drive in Newport Beach, California. Players aged 10 and older will compete for prizes, including $3,000 in open division prize money.
The event will feature three days of competition. Friday is set for men’s and women’s singles matches. Saturday will include men’s and women’s doubles games. On Sunday, mixed doubles matches will wrap up the event. All matches will follow a round-robin format with a medal round.
Tournament Schedule and Details
The pickleball tournament starts Friday, July 25, with singles events beginning not before noon. Doubles play happens on Saturday, July 26, and mixed doubles close the weekend on Sunday, July 27.
Skill levels from 2.5 to 5.0 are welcome, with age brackets for players aged 10+ and 50+. The open division, offering prize money, is available to players with a DUPR rating of 4.0 or higher.
The registration deadline is Sunday, July 20, 2025. Each player must pay a $50 tournament fee. Bracket fees are $45, and the open division has a $75 bracket fee.

Every player will receive a $10 voucher to spend at the Clubhouse Grill, located at the venue. The event will be held at the scenic Newport Beach location, offering players and fans a vibrant and competitive environment.
The tournament is presented by the American Pickleball Series with support from CORE Pickleball and Neonic.
