Dink Out Pickleball Tournament: The third annual “Dink Out Domestic Violence” pickleball tournament will take place on July 19 and 20 at Community Sports and Wellness in Pendleton, Indiana. The pickleball event is organized by Alternatives Inc. to raise funds for survivors of domestic and sexual violence across six central Indiana counties.
The pickleball tournament will include women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Players of all skill levels are invited to join. All proceeds will go to Alternatives Inc., a nonprofit helping survivors since 1978.
About the Organization
Alternatives Inc. provides support services in Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Madison, Marion, and Tipton counties. The organization offers shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and education for people affected by abuse.
Millie Parke, a domestic violence survivor from Marion County who was stabbed in Hancock County, is one of the sponsors of this event. Her story highlights the importance of supporting such programs.
