First Ever Youth Pickleball Tournament Coming to Spokane Valley

First Ever Youth Pickleball Tournament: On June 21, 2025, Power Pickleball Club will host a major youth-only pickleball tournament in Spokane Valley, Washington. Known as the Jr. Paddle Battle, the pickleball event marks the first large-scale tournament of its kind in the area, offering a competitive platform for kids aged 10 to 18.

Jr. Paddle Battle Brings New Spotlight to Youth Players

Power Pickleball Club, a growing hub for young athletes in Spokane Valley, continues its mission to teach and inspire the next generation of pickleball players. Alongside its regular six-week training courses and a summer camp planned for June, the club is introducing the Jr. Paddle Battle tournament to take youth pickleball to a higher level.

“It will be the first larger-scale pickleball tournament just for youth in the Spokane area ever, the first one of its kind,” said Jeremy Rosenvall, owner and CEO of Power Pickleball Club.

Training Young Athletes Through Year-Round Programs

The club already offers structured learning opportunities for kids between ages 7 and 14, helping them build skills and confidence. The week-long summer camp and year-round instructional programs give kids hands-on experience in a fun, encouraging environment.

Pickleball’s popularity continues to grow rapidly, with nearly 50 million players worldwide. Power Pickleball Club is playing a key role in introducing kids to the game early, helping them develop athletic and social skills.

A Boost for Local Pickleball and Youth Sports

The Jr. Paddle Battle aims to expand access to youth competition and make pickleball more visible and appealing for families in the Spokane region. With increased local interest and supportive programming, the event could be the start of many more youth-focused tournaments in the future.
