Potsdam Pickleball Tournament: The Always Caring Mixed-Doubles Pickleball Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 14, at Sandstoner Park in Potsdam. Hosted by the North Country Pickleball Group, the pickleball event begins at 8 a.m. and will raise money to support United Helpers. Matches will take place throughout the day.
The tournament will feature four divisions, offering opportunities for players of different skill levels. Registration costs $40 per team, with discounts available for teams entering multiple divisions. Games will run from early morning into the afternoon at the Pine Street Arena.
Food, Prizes, and Entertainment All Day
The tournament will be more than just a sports event. Families attending can enjoy pizza and other food from local vendors. Food trucks from Italian Affair and Rosie’s Hawg Dogs will serve visitors, while a bake sale will offer cookies, muffins, pies, and other treats.
A large basket drawing will take place during the day, featuring over 40 gift baskets and prizes. Children can enjoy free balloons and teddy bears, making this a family-friendly community gathering. Music will play all day to keep the atmosphere festive and fun.
