Mercer Courts’ Adult Pickleball Program: Iowa City Parks and Recreation will host an adult pickleball program at Mercer Pickleball Courts from July 14 to July 30, 2025. The pickleball sessions will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., helping new players learn the game in a fun and easy way.
The pickleball classes will take place at 1317 Dover Street in Iowa City. The goal is to introduce adults to pickleball by teaching them basic rules, using equipment, and developing skills. Once players understand the basics, most of the time will be spent playing games.
