Facility Nearing Completion
The Buxmont Pickleball Club shared its progress in a recent Facebook post: “Thanks for your patience while we complete construction and look forward to opening our doors in August.” Construction is nearly done, and the club is preparing for a busy launch.
The idea for this indoor facility started last August when the Horsham Township Council approved the plan for five indoor pickleball courts. Since then, construction has moved quickly.
Building Features and Amenities
The club’s building covers 10,000 square feet and has 30-foot-high ceilings, taller than most indoor pickleball sites. It will include a large viewing mezzanine, giving visitors a clear view of the courts. There will also be a Pro Shop, modern changing areas, divider barriers for each court, and special soundproofing.
“You may have seen the construction of our brand-new facility,” the club said. “We are now ‘under roof’ and making progress every day. As the crews work their magic, our staff is planning programs and special features that will be sure to make Buxmont Pickleball Club one of the most active sports facilities in Bucks and Montgomery County.”
