Shelby County Pickleball Clinic: Families in Shelby County will get a chance to grow closer while learning a new sport this summer. The Shelby County Pickleball Association is teaming up with the Stronger Family initiative to offer a free four-week pickleball clinic for families, starting July 15 and running through August 5.
Free Clinics for Families
The clinic is designed for families with children aged 10 or older. Sessions will be held every Monday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The goal is to help families bond through playing pickleball together.
The Stronger Family initiative is supporting the clinic as part of its mission to help families become stronger and more connected.
Limited Spots Available
There is space for only eight families in this free clinic, so those who want to join are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The Shelby County Pickleball Association hopes this small group setting will give each family more attention and a better experience.
The program is a good mix of sport and family time, and aims to create long-lasting memories while teaching the basics of pickleball.
Building Stronger Bonds Through Sport
This clinic offers more than just a way to stay active. It helps parents and kids work as a team, learn a new skill, and build stronger relationships.
Programs like these show how pickleball can bring people together and support family wellness. If the clinic goes well, more events like this could be planned in the future.
