Patriot Place Pickleball Classic Returns with Bigger Event, New Venue

The third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic powered by ELEVENO is set to take place on Thursday, July 31, Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3. The tournament will celebrate the grand opening of a new 17,000-square-foot outdoor pickleball facility at Patriot Place, offering courts, food, clinics, and fun.

The event will include tournament matches, open play, training clinics, and food and drink options. It will be held at the new facility located across from Trader Joe’s and Restoration Hardware Outlet. After this launch, the courts will stay open through the end of October.

Grand Opening of a New Pickleball Space

The new outdoor pickleball facility at Patriot Place, built in a former parking lot, features six professional-level courts. It also includes a shaded lounge, snack and drink areas, and space for spectators and players to relax. The venue is designed for all skill levels and will host special events, training sessions, and competitions.

Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place, said,

“We’re thrilled to officially open our new outdoor pickleball facility with the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic powered by ELEVENO. Each year, this event has brought together pickleball enthusiasts from across New England to enjoy social play, tournaments, clinics and a variety of food and beverage offerings, and we can think of no better way to get play underway at our new facility. We look forward to welcoming players of all ages and skill levels to Patriot Place for the first of many great pickleball moments here.”-(Brian Earley)

Bigger and Bolder Event This Year

The pickleball tournament is organized by ELEVENO, a group that has held pop-up pickleball events in the past. This year’s Classic is their biggest yet and will use the newly built courts for the first time.

Jodi Cullity, Chief Executive Officer of ELEVENO, said,

“After two incredible years of pop-up events at Patriot Place, we’re thrilled to announce our biggest event yet — the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic. For the first time ever, the Classic will take place on our brand-new permanent courts, marking the official grand opening of our outdoor facility. This year’s event is bigger, bolder, and more energized than ever, with expanded programming and experiences for all ages. We’re deeply grateful for the support of our community and we can’t wait to welcome you to an unforgettable weekend of celebration, competition, and connection.”-(Jodi Cullity)

What to Expect After the Classic

Once the event ends, the courts will remain open for public use through late October. At that point, the Winter Skate rink will return to the space. Until then, players can book court time and take part in ELEVENO-hosted events, training, and more.

The Patriot Place Pickleball Classic powered by ELEVENO is expected to bring together the pickleball community, offer a fun experience for all ages, and mark a new chapter in local pickleball activity.
