Falls Church Launches Elite Pickleball Program: An Intermediate/Advanced Pickleball Program is taking place at Poplar Heights Recreation Association in Falls Church, Virginia, from June 16 to August 17, 2025. The program runs every Sunday and is designed to help players with solid fundamentals improve their skills and game strategies.
Advanced Training for Dedicated Players
The program is open to adults who already understand pickleball basics and want to improve. Each session focuses on developing sharper shot placement, better teamwork in doubles, and faster reactions during matches. Players will work on more advanced skills like third-shot drops, volleys, and strategic net play.
Participants will meet at 2463 Buckelew Drive in Falls Church. Sessions are scheduled for June 22, June 29, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3, August 10, and August 17. There will be no class on July 6.
Drills, Match Play, and Strategy Building
The program includes live-ball drills and actual matches. It also offers practice in dinking, shot selection, court positioning, and teamwork. The main goal is to help players adopt a more strategic and aggressive playing style.
Improving Pickleball for the Local Community
This eight-week course gives experienced players a way to grow their game and meet others at a similar level.
