New Pickleball Facility in Lake Hallie Set for Grand Opening

New Pickleball Facility in Lake Hallie: The Chippewa Valley Pickleball Club (CVPC), in collaboration with the Village of Lake Hallie, is gearing up for a major milestone: the grand opening of the new pickleball facility at Gower Park. On Monday, July 29th, at 2 p.m., the community is invited to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the park’s 12 newly constructed pickleball courts, located at 11510 17th Avenue, Lake Hallie.

The newly minted courts had their inaugural test during a Senior Pickleball tournament held over the weekend, showcasing their readiness and the enthusiasm surrounding their debut.

Gary Spilde, the Village President, expressed gratitude for the partnership with the Chippewa Valley Pickleball Club and the sponsors who contributed to making the new park a valuable asset to the village. He highlighted the Village Board’s foresight in repurposing the park to boost local commerce

Kent Stelter, Chair of the Village’s Parks, Tourism, and Recreation Committee, noted that the park is set to become a prominent pickleball destination. He anticipated that it would attract visitors who would also support the local businesses.

 “This park will be a pickleball destination and  we look forward to welcoming visitors that will patronize our local businesses.”
