Level Up Your Game: Kingsport’s Intermediate Pickleball Classes Promise Skill Boosts This Summer

Kingsport’s Intermediate Pickleball Classes: The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for its upcoming Intermediate Pickleball Classes. The classes are scheduled for Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., running from June 19 to July 10, at the Riverview Pickleball Courts located at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex at 301 Louis Street.

The course is open to participants aged 14 and older. The registration fee is $40 for Kingsport city residents and $45 for non-residents. These classes are meant for players who have already completed a beginner pickleball course and want to improve their skills further.

Designed for Skill Growth

This four-week course will focus on helping players move beyond the basics of pickleball. It will introduce more advanced techniques and strategies that are not covered in beginner classes.

All equipment needed for the class will be provided by the Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department, so participants don’t need to bring their own gear.

A Popular Sport with Growing Demand

The classes will be held at the Riverview Pickleball Courts, which are part of the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex. This location has become a go-to spot for pickleball in Kingsport, reflecting the sport’s fast-growing popularity in the area.

Helping Players Improve

By offering a structured way to grow skills, the Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department hopes to help more players enjoy the sport and compete at a higher level. These intermediate classes give players a chance to continue learning after finishing a beginner program.

The effort is part of the department’s goal to provide community-friendly, skill-based activities that promote healthy living and recreation.
