Sereno Fort Lauderdale, a project by Integra Investments and Flying Point, will place this new court on a rooftop with views of the ocean, skyline, and waterways.
The court is part of a wellness-focused rooftop level and is designed to give residents a unique recreational experience. It joins a growing trend of developers including pickleball in new building plans, as the sport continues to grow rapidly in the U.S.
Pickleball’s Rising Popularity Inspires New Heights
The rooftop court at Sereno Fort Lauderdale reflects the fast growth of pickleball. According to the 2025 Sports & Fitness Industry Association report, the sport has been the fastest-growing in America for four years in a row.
In 2024 alone, almost 20 million Americans played pickleball. Participation has jumped by 311%, and real estate developers are adding courts to meet demand.
At Sereno Fort Lauderdale, the court stands out as one of the boldest additions to a high-end residential building in South Florida. It is located on one of two rooftop levels. One rooftop focuses on relaxation, while the other is dedicated to health and exercise.
Fitness and Fun at the Center of Design
The rooftop with the pickleball court also includes a modern gym with Technogym machines, an infrared sauna, a cold plunge, steam room, outdoor shower, and a yoga lawn. This setup is meant to give residents a full health and wellness experience without leaving the building.
The glass tower will have 76 residences and is designed by FSMY Architects + Planners. Interiors are by 1508 London, and landscape design is by Design Studio Boca.
The rooftop pickleball court is just one of many new amenities that combine sport and luxury in modern city living.
