Pickleball Summerfest Milwaukee Debut: Pickleball has made its debut at Milwaukee’s Summerfest this year, giving visitors a fun and active way to enjoy the festival. Dean’s Dip Pickleball Village is set up near Johnsonville Summerville by the north gate, offering an outdoor space where anyone can rally, serve, and swing a paddle.
A Sport for Everyone
Prolite Sports from New Berlin is running the pickleball activities. The goal is to give people of all ages and skill levels a chance to play.
Greg Grant, president of Prolite Sports, shared why this matters: “There’s not a lot of sports out there where both men and women and younger and older players can all play in the same court and have fun.”
A Memorable Experience
Set against the lakefront, the court offers a scenic place to try the fast-growing sport. “Being on the lakefront and being able to play outside is a lot of fun and everyone wants to say, ‘I got to play pickleball at Summerfest,’” said Greg Grant.
Pickleball will be available every day during the three weekends of the festival.
