Red Bank’s Pickleball Clinic: A four-week adult pickleball clinic hosted by the Red Bank Department of Parks and Recreation is set to begin Tuesday, June 24, at Eastside Park. The event has officially sold out, but more spots may be added soon if a second instructor is secured.
Popular Program Reaches Capacity
The clinic will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is designed for beginners and those wanting to improve. It will be held at Eastside Park, located at 272 Mechanic Street in Red Bank, New Jersey. The cost is $25 per person, and paddles are provided.
Oscar Salinas, Director of Parks and Recreation, confirmed high interest. “The pickleball clinic is officially sold out, but we’re planning to open up another eight spots as soon as we secure a second instructor,” he said.
A Fun Way to Stay Active
This summer clinic is a chance for adults to stay active, meet others, and learn the popular sport. Participants are asked to wear tennis or court shoes, bring water, and optionally use eye protection.
“We’re excited to offer this beginner-friendly pickleball clinic as a fun and active way for adults in our community to get outdoors, learn a new sport, and connect with others,” said Oscar Salinas. “With paddles provided and expert instruction, it’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in trying out the fastest-growing sport in the country.”
