Pearland’s First Indoor Pickleball Park Promises Fun, Fitness, and Fresh Connections

Pearland Pickleball Park Opening: A new indoor pickleball park called Pearland Pickleball Park is coming soon to McLean Road in Pearland, Texas. Brandon Roeber, the owner, said the park will be for players of all ages and skill levels. Construction is expected to begin in August and could finish in about 10 to 11 months.

A Growing Sport Finds a Home

Brandon Roeber first became interested in pickleball after friends invited him to play. He quickly noticed how popular the sport was becoming. He decided the community needed a place just for pickleball.

“It brings people together, all ages, all skill levels…family, friends,” said Brandon Roeber.

Pickleball is played on a small court with solid paddles and a plastic ball. Many people enjoy it because it is easy to learn and fun to play.

Big Plans for the Facility

The new building will be about 4,600 square feet. Inside, there will be nine courts, including two championship courts for serious matches. The facility will also have a second-story mezzanine, two event rooms, a pro shop, and a downstairs lobby.

Brandon Roeber said he hopes the park will be ready before summer next year. He wants it to be more than just a place to play sports.

“I hope the facility becomes more than just a place for pickleball. (I hope) it becomes a space where family, friends, neighbors can all get together, stay active, build that social connection,” said Brandon Roeber.

Bringing People Together

Once open, the park is expected to be a spot where people can stay healthy, meet new friends, and enjoy time together. It may also bring visitors from other towns, helping local businesses grow.

Pearland Pickleball Park will give the community a new place to play, learn, and connect through this fast-growing sport.
