Pickle & Pong Louisville Sports Facility: A new sports facility called Pickle & Pong is preparing to open in early July in far eastern Louisville. Located at 13141 Aiken Road, it will combine pickleball and ping pong and remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The business aims to attract players of all ages by offering fun and accessible activities. Co-owner and co-founder Jill Ort explained the goal of the facility.
“It’s a sport that everyone can play, and we want to make it a welcoming location for everybody,” said Jill Ort.
Facility Features and Membership
Pickle & Pong will have five pickleball courts and two ping pong tables. All playing areas can be booked online, making it easy for people to reserve a time.
The business plans to offer monthly and yearly memberships. Prices have not been set yet. There will also be a pay-per-visit option for those who prefer not to have a membership.
Open Access and Community Appeal
By operating 24/7, Pickle & Pong hopes to create a place where people can play anytime that fits their schedule. The owners believe this flexibility will draw in many customers, including families and late-night players.
Future Plans and Impact
Pickle & Pong is expected to bring more attention to pickleball, a sport growing fast across the country. The facility may also help build community connections by giving people a fun place to gather.
If the business does well, it could inspire other similar spaces to open in Louisville.
