Anheuser-Busch Sports Park Pickleball Courts: The City of Columbus is set to open four new outdoor pickleball courts at Anheuser-Busch Sports Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is leading the project to give residents more places to play the fast-growing sport.
The new courts come with lights for evening play and are part of the city’s continued efforts to expand free and accessible sports spaces across Columbus.
Part of a Bigger Investment
Mayor Andrew Ginther said the project is about more than just sports.

The courts are the second set of outdoor pickleball courts introduced by the city. Officials say more projects like this are coming to support local interest and participation in the sport.
Features of the New Courts
The four courts include push-to-play lighting that stays on until 11 p.m. Two shaded pavilions offer places to rest, and the site also features resurfaced parking and a layout that is accessible to people with disabilities.
