Kyle Park Transforms: Eight New Pickleball Courts Promise a Game-Changing Summer

Kyle Park Pickleball Court Construction: The City of Kyle has started building a new pickleball court complex in Kyle Park. The new facility is being built near the soccer fields, where the old skate park and basketball courts were located. The city has removed the old structures and leveled the ground to begin the new project.

Construction Underway

Construction crews have already prepared the site with gravel and are moving ahead with the project. According to City Manager Eric Mack,

“Construction is underway on the eight new pickleball courts in Kyle Park. Work has started smoothly, and we anticipate completion by late summer or early fall. This addition will be a great asset to our park system and active community.”

From Old Space to New Use

The new courts replace the skate park and basketball courts that were recently taken down. The decision was made to use this area because of its central location and accessibility within Kyle Park. The new courts are expected to attract both new and experienced pickleball players.

Serving the Community

City officials believe these courts will meet growing demand and support local interest in pickleball. The project is part of Kyle’s effort to improve recreational spaces and keep residents active and engaged. Once finished, the courts will offer more opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the game.
