Mesa Pickleball Clinics for Beginners: A beginner-friendly pickleball class will be held at the Mesa Tennis & Pickleball Center at Gene Autry Park from September 3 to September 24, 2025. The sessions run every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and are designed to teach adults the fundamentals of the fast-growing sport in a positive and active setting.
What Participants Will Learn
Attendees will receive hands-on training in all the basics of pickleball, including how to serve, dink, and volley. The course also covers important game rules like scoring and kitchen rules, which are essential to playing properly. No personal gear is required — demo paddles will be available at the court for those who need them.
Program Details and Fees
This course is part of the City of Mesa’s adult tennis and pickleball programming. It offers a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere for newcomers looking to join the sport. Participants can request a refund or transfer up to seven days before the first class begins. After that point, all fees are non-refundable.
The class fee includes a non-refundable administrative charge, which ranges from $2 to $10. This is standard for all City of Mesa activities unless stated otherwise.
