Dinkers Pig Chase Pickleball Tournament: The Dinkers Pig Chase Series (2) will take place from July 18 to 20, 2025, at Dinkers Pickleball Club in Denton, Texas. Hosted by Pickleball Is Great, the tournament welcomes players of all ages and skill levels and includes a US Senior Pickleball-approved division for players aged 50 and up.
Inclusive Format and Flexible Divisions
No membership is required to join the tournament, but US Senior Pickleball members receive a $10 discount and qualify for points and prizes. Players must link their US Senior Pickleball membership number in their PickleballBrackets.com profile to get the discount during registration.
Matches will be played at Dinkers Pickleball Club, located at 719 South Interstate 35E, Denton, Texas. The facility has 15 indoor courts and is dedicated to pickleball-only play.
All players will compete in round-robin format by skill and age levels. Brackets will be formed after registration closes. Gold, silver, and bronze medal playoffs will follow the round-robin play for skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 4.5 and above.
Schedule of Events
The tournament starts on Friday, July 18, 2025, with US Senior Pickleball men’s and women’s singles at 12:00 p.m. and all-ages men’s singles at 6:00 p.m. Women’s and men’s doubles, including both USSP and all-ages brackets, are scheduled for Saturday. Mixed doubles matches for all groups are set for Sunday. Start times for Saturday and Sunday will be posted on July 14, 2025, and matches will begin at 9:00 a.m. on both days.
Games will typically be played to 15 points, win by two. In brackets with 7 to 9 teams, round-robin matches will go to 11. In divisions with 10 or more teams, players will be split into multiple pools. Playoff matches will determine the top finishers, and tournament organizers may adjust brackets as needed. However, “USSP 50+ will not be combined with the all ages.”
Players aged 50 and older may choose to compete in either the USSP division or all-ages events. They may also play in one USSP event and choose all-ages events for the others.
Registration and Equipment Guidelines
Early registration ended June 30, 2025. Regular registration runs through July 13, 2025, with a fee of $55 plus $15 per event. Late registration starts on July 14 and increases to $70 plus $15 per event. Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. CST on July 14, 2025.
Each registered player must have a partner signed up within seven days. If not, the player may be moved to the waitlist.
