Hudson River Pickleball Unveils $1,700 Prize Tournament and Hot Summer Deals—No Membership Needed

Hudson River Pickleball Summer Tournament: Hudson River Pickleball in Englewood, New Jersey, is hosting a prize pool tournament on July 26–27, 2025, offering cash rewards for top finishers in the Men’s Open and Mixed Open events. The indoor facility also introduced new off-peak summer deals and extended playing hours for all skill levels.

Tournament With Cash Prizes This July

Hudson River Pickleball will welcome players to its July tournament with a $1,700 prize pool. The Men’s Open and Mixed Open events will award $500, $250, and $100 to first, second, and third-place teams. Other categories will reward winners with private court time and Joola hats for all medalists.

Tournament events will include men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, as well as men’s singles. Divisions will range from 3.0 to 4.5+ skill levels. The competition format features a round-robin group stage followed by single-elimination playoffs. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of four matches, all of which will be recorded in the DUPR rating system.

Indoor Facility Offers Summer Specials

Hudson River Pickleball operates seven indoor courts and is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The club now offers a 30-day unlimited off-peak pass for $49, available Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This deal includes:

  • Free off-peak open play

  • Free off-peak walk-in access (no guests)

  • Free use of a ball machine

  • $25 per hour off-peak court rental (with up to 5 guests)

  • 10% discount on gear purchases

  • 14-day advance court booking

Players do not need a membership to enjoy these summer rates. Court rental pricing starts at $25 per hour during off-peak times and $40 per hour during peak hours. Open play access is available from $8 to $20, depending on time of day.

Bringing Players Together Through Pickleball

Hudson River Pickleball continues to grow its local presence by creating affordable access to indoor courts, competitive play, and beginner-friendly scheduling. By offering both tournament events and off-peak passes, the club hopes to welcome more players into the sport throughout the summer.
