A special pickleball fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Cleveland Pickleball Center. The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and supports Providence House, a nonprofit that helps families in crisis.
The Cleveland Pickleball Center is located at 12400 Crossburn Avenue in Cleveland. Newsradio WTAM 1100 and 96.5 KISS FM are hosting the event, which will feature a friendly competition between radio hosts.
Friendly Rivalry for a Cause
Jeremiah from 96.5 KISS FM and Bloomdaddy from Newsradio WTAM 1100 will each form their own pickleball teams. The goal is to see which host can build the better team.
The losing host must donate $500 to Providence House.
Open Play and Food Truck Fun
Community members are invited to attend and take part in open pickleball play on both indoor and outdoor courts. The event is open to all, even those who don’t play the game.
The Boss Chicken n Beer food truck will be at the venue. Guests can enjoy food, drinks, and cheer on Team Jeremiah or Team Bloomdaddy while helping raise money for a good cause.
Support for Providence House
The event highlights a growing interest in mixing sports with community service. Providence House will benefit from all donations, including the pledged amount from the losing host.
The Cleveland Pickleball Center hopes the fun and friendly match will encourage more people to support local charities while enjoying a night out.
