Louisville Downtown Pickleball Street Festival: ANGEL’S ENVY® kicked off its summer Daycap campaign on July 13, 2025, with a pickleball street festival in downtown Louisville. The event featured celebrity matches, live music, giveaways, and a new limited-edition pickleball gear collection, bringing together bourbon, community, and sport.
A Celebration of Style, Sport, and Bourbon
The event, called the Louisville Downtown Pickleball Street Festival, took place outside the ANGEL’S ENVY® Distillery on Main Street. The space was turned into a lively outdoor pickleball venue with help from the Louisville Downtown Partnership and Goodbounce Pickleball Yard. The festival celebrated the launch of ANGEL’S ENVY®’s Daycap campaign, which encourages people to pause and enjoy special moments.
Attendees enjoyed open pickleball play, tournaments, a Peach Smash cocktail bar, live music, and food. The star event was a celebrity match between model and ANGEL’S ENVY® brand partner Venita Aspen and Sean Baute, host of WAVE Listens Live. Fans could also take part in photo ops, explore the distillery, and enjoy games inside.
Special Edition Merchandise and Partnerships
To mark the campaign launch, ANGEL’S ENVY® teamed up with Short Court, a pickleball brand from Charleston, South Carolina, known for blending modern and classic looks. Together they released a limited-edition collection of co-branded pickleball paddles and hats. These items were designed for use on and off the court and are now available at the ANGEL’S ENVY® Distillery.
Venita Aspen shared her excitement about the campaign, saying, “I was so excited to team up with ANGEL’S ENVY. I’ve recently been exploring the world of bourbon, and style is at the heart of everything I do – so when I was approached for this project, it was an immediate yes! As a Charleston native who’s worked with Short Court, a hometown favorite, this partnership alongside ANGEL’S ENVY felt like a natural fit. Seeing the community come together around pickleball, embrace the Daycap, and celebrate with friends in style — all while enjoying thoughtfully crafted bourbon cocktails like the Peach Smash — was the perfect way to kick off the summer.”
