Skechers Doubles Down on Pickleball: New Partnership Brings Exclusive Gear, Star Athletes, and Community Tournaments

Skechers Pickleball Partnership Expansion: Skechers has partnered with Pickle and Social, a fast-growing pickleball and hospitality brand, to deepen its reach in the sport. The long-term deal includes tournaments, exclusive product launches, and appearances by athletes, offering players a chance to connect with Skechers on and off the court.

Pickleball Meets Performance Footwear

The partnership began in late 2024 and is now fully active. Events and tournaments supported by Skechers are taking place at Pickle and Social locations. These include Skechers-branded gear, player prizes, and a special focus on community participation.

Brian Harper, chief operating officer of Competitive Social Ventures, which owns Pickle and Social, said,

“This partnership with Skechers is a perfect alignment of purpose and passion. Together, we’re elevating the game for players at every level.”

Inside Pickle and Social’s pro shops, players can purchase Skechers shoes, such as the “Viper Court Pro 2.0.” This shoe quickly sold out in many men’s sizes after its launch, thanks in part to excitement from local league players.

On-Court Action and Brand Visibility

The Skechers Ladder League has already drawn over 50 players in one month, with weekly registration limited to 30 participants. Upcoming league dates include July 21 and 28. Winners of each week’s matches receive a new pair of Skechers shoes, connecting gameplay directly to product experience.

At venues like the Gwinnett location in Georgia, players see Skechers branding on courts and merchandise. Staff wear Skechers gear, creating full brand immersion. Athlete appearances, including from Tyson McGuffin, have increased excitement and social media attention.

Brand ambassadors like Zane Navratil and Danny Wuerffel are also helping highlight the partnership’s focus on community.

More Than Just a Logo

This strategy is creating strong results on-site. Men’s shoes are selling quickly, and local players keep returning to events, building loyalty to the brand. Skechers is also sharing event content and league updates on social media, expanding its reach.

With pickleball being one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States, Skechers is using this partnership to become part of the pickleball lifestyle.
