PKL Social Pickleball Bar Expansion: PKL Social, a popular pickleball destination in the inner loop, is expanding by taking over the space that used to be FM Kitchen & Bar. The change will officially happen on July 26, uniting both venues under the PKL Social brand, which is already well known for its pickleball courts and lively atmosphere.
Expansion and Upgrades
Both PKL Social and FM Kitchen share the same ownership and management. The expansion reflects the success PKL Social has had since it opened in March 2024. The building’s exterior is already painted with PKL Social’s branding, preparing for the official rebranding.
The expanded PKL Social will add Full Swing golf simulators where visitors can play golf and other games by paying an hourly fee. The venue will still have four pickleball courts, large TVs for sports viewing, and two 140-inch LED video walls for big games and events.
Food, Drinks, and Layout
Many popular dishes from FM Kitchen, such as the signature cheeseburger, smash burger, and weekend brunch items, will remain on the menu. New food options will include a chopped chicken Caesar wrap, Buffalo chicken wrap, fried shrimp basket, and a California-style burrito.
The beverage menu will feature cocktails, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks like oat milk lattes from Tenfold Coffee and frozen strawberry lemonade.
The patio bar and restaurant area will stay family-friendly, while the original PKL Social court area will continue to be adults-only.
A Growing Social Hub
Jason Mok, operating partner at PKL Social, said, “PKL Social is becoming so much more than a pickleball destination. It’s a sports bar and event-centric destination with high energy and excellent food.”
He added that the venue will host corporate events, happy hours, game day parties, reality TV watch parties, bingo nights, and cold plunge socials. These new options aim to make PKL Social a true social spot for everyone.
To celebrate the expansion, PKL Social will hold an event on July 26 with drink specials, raffle prizes, giveaways, a DJ, and drinks from brands like LALO Tequila, Athletic Brewing Co., and Beam Suntory.
