Beginner Pickleball Clinic Maryland Farms: A beginner pickleball clinic will be held on Sunday, July 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Maryland Farms, located at 5101 Maryland Way in Brentwood, Tennessee. Led by certified instructor Terry Howell, this indoor session will teach players of all ages the basics of pickleball, including skills, safety, and game rules.
Learning the Basics of the Game
Participants will receive instruction on paddle control, footwork, forehand and backhand drives, serving and returning, dinking, lobs, and volleying. The clinic will also cover how to score and keep track of points, along with proper court etiquette and safety tips.
Terry Howell, an Adult and Youth Level 1 Certified Pickleball Instructor, will lead the session. The teaching method includes describing each skill, showing how it is done, and giving feedback as players practice. Everyone will have a chance to play doubles by the end of the session.
Indoor Setting and Open Access
The clinic will take place inside at the Maryland Farms indoor pickleball courts, specifically on courts MF – Indoor PB E2 and E3. It is open to all age groups and skill levels.
