Pickleball Club of America Atlanta Facility: Pickleball Club of America, the largest pickleball facility in the United States, is set to open in late 2025 in the Upper Westside of Atlanta. Built by pickleball enthusiast Mike Shamus, the 110,000-square-foot center will offer state-of-the-art amenities and space for 2,500 members.
Facility Designed for Players’ Comfort
The indoor facility is being designed by Terminus Design Group. It will feature specific LED lights to reduce glare, sound-absorbing walls to lower noise, and a 20-foot-high ceiling for a better playing experience. Courts will have at least 30 feet of space between columns in one direction, fitting the 30 by 60-foot court standards.
Players will also have access to locker rooms with showers, a café, a full bar, golf simulators, and a fitness center. There will be four event rooms, with sizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet.
Georgia Tech Pickleball Teams Join In
The Georgia Tech women’s and men’s pickleball teams have committed to using the new facility. They plan to hold practices, home matches, tournaments, and special events at the center once it opens.
Bringing Community and Sport Together
The Pickleball Club of America will offer a high-quality experience for beginners and pros alike. With a strong design and plenty of room, the new facility aims to be a hub for pickleball in Georgia and the nation.
