2025 Williamsburg Pickleball Tournament: The 2025 Williamsburg Summer Showcase USSP + All Ages tournament will take place from August 1 to August 3, 2025, at The Picklr by Pickleball Is Great in Williamsburg, Virginia. This event is open to all ages and skill levels, making it an inclusive pickleball competition for both senior and non-senior players. Registration closes on July 23, 2025, at 11:55 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The cost to enter is $75, with each event costing an additional $15.
Hosted for the first time at The Picklr, this tournament features a round-robin format for every division, with playoffs for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
Schedule and Format
The event will follow this daily schedule:

Friday, August 1 – Women’s Doubles and Men’s Singles

Saturday, August 2 – Mixed Doubles

Sunday, August 3 – Men’s Doubles and Women’s Singles
Games are played to 15 points and must be won by 2. If brackets have 7 or 8 teams, games may be played to 11 points. The top four teams from each group move on to playoffs.
The Gold Medal match may be either best 2 of 3 to 11 or 1 to 15. Bronze matches are single games to 15. Event organizers may combine brackets if necessary to ensure competitive balance.
Special Features for USSP Players
The United States Senior Pickleball (USSP) format will be used for age and skill divisions. These will be in 5-year age brackets. While USSP membership is not required, players who include their membership number in their profile will receive a $10 rebate.
Tournament Director rules allow adjustments in bracket sizes and game format to keep play fair and enjoyable.
Registration and Refund Policy
Players can register for a base fee of $75, with each event adding $15. Earlier registrants paid a lower base fee during March, April, and into mid-July. Refunds are available for withdrawals made before the cancellation deadline on July 23, 2025. However, a $20 processing fee will be deducted. Refunds will only be given after the tournament ends.
Registration may close early if the maximum number of players is reached, even if spots in some brackets still appear open.
A Step Forward for Pickleball in Virginia
This event marks the first time Pickleball Is Great will host a tournament at The Picklr facility in Williamsburg. The tournament is expected to bring in players from across age groups and skill levels, encouraging more people to compete in a friendly but competitive setting.
