Free Open Play and Grand Opening Ceremony
To mark the occasion, Pickleball Kingdom is offering free open play throughout the weekend. Players can reserve their time on the Pickleball Kingdom App and choose from multiple sessions: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 2. Guests attending the event can also take part in fun prize giveaways and have the chance to win pickleball gear and membership deals.
Exclusive Events Before the Public Launch
Before the public opening, Pickleball Kingdom will host private events at the facility. On Thursday, July 31, members are invited to enjoy a special Member Night where they will be the first outside group to use the courts.
Friday, August 1 will feature a Friends and Family Preview. This private event will be for staff members’ friends and family as a way to celebrate the facility’s completion and upcoming launch.
New Addition to The Commons Development
The new indoor pickleball space is located in The Commons, a growing area in Lexington. Sheehan Lake, a Lexington native and president of Pickleball X, expressed his excitement about the project.
“We are thrilled to open Kentucky’s largest indoor pickleball facility and plan on it being the hub for pickleball across the Bluegrass,” said Sheehan Lake.
Special Membership Offer for New Players
Pickleball Kingdom is encouraging new players to join with a limited-time membership offer. Those who sign up for the Ace Membership will receive their first month for only $1, and the usual $100 initiation fee will be waived.
