Dill-inois State Fair Pickleball Showdown: The Illinois State Fair will host the “Dill-inois State Fair Pickleball Showdown” on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Orr Building in Springfield, Illinois. The indoor event features a round-robin doubles tournament for youth and adults, with prizes and a $30 registration fee that includes fair admission.

The pickleball showdown welcomes players of all skill levels. Matches will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Central Time on temporary courts set up inside the Orr Building. The courts will use the facility’s polished concrete floor, which offers a smooth surface with minimal obstacles above.

Boys 15-18 years

Game Format and Tie-Breaker Rules
All matches will follow a doubles format with individual scoring. Players will compete in round-robin groups. The top two teams from each group will move on to a playoff round.
If teams are tied, the following rules will be used to break ties:
Total number of wins.
Result of head-to-head matches.
Total points scored.
Total points allowed.
Entry and Parking Details
A $30 registration fee covers entry into the State Fair. Parking is available for $5 at Gate 9, which leads directly to the Orr Building.
Winners will receive cash prizes:
First place: $100
Second place: $50
Third place: $25
