Pickleball 4 Parkinson Charity Tournament: Pickleball 4 Parkinson’s, a charity tournament hosted by the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, will be held on November 15, 2025, at The Picklr, located at 9847 Cumberland Pointe Boulevard in Noblesville, Indiana. The one-day event will raise money to support people and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease across the state.
Fundraiser Supports Parkinson’s Programs
Pickleball 4 Parkinson’s will include women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles competitions. Players will compete in two skill levels (3.0–3.5 and 4.0-plus) and two age groups (50 and under, and 50 and over).
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Indiana Parkinson Foundation. The funds will help provide exercise, support, and education programs for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
Addie Cunningham, program director for the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, said the event offers a great way for the community to get involved.
“Pickleball is a sport that brings people of all ages and abilities together,” said Addie Cunningham. “It perfectly aligns with our mission to promote movement, connection and hope.”
Pickleball Chosen for Its Accessibility and Appeal
Cunningham said the idea came from understanding how physical activity and social connection improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s. Several participants living with the condition will join the tournament, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines.
“The idea grew from recognizing how powerful physical activity and community engagement can be in improving the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s,” she said.
The foundation also offers a program called CLIMB, a fitness class based on exercises designed for people with Parkinson’s. Although it encourages movement similar to pickleball, it doesn’t include the sport due to safety reasons.
“Pickleball isn’t a good fit for everyone with Parkinson’s,” said Addie Cunningham. “Our CLIMB classes incorporate many of the same types of exercises that pickleball encourages.”

Nonmembers of The Picklr can register for $65 per player, which includes one event. Each additional event costs $20. Members of The Picklr pay $50 per player, with additional events costing $10 each.
Looking Ahead
Pickleball 4 Parkinson’s highlights the strong link between community, activity, and support. The Indiana Parkinson Foundation hopes the tournament will raise both money and awareness, while encouraging more people to get involved in helping those affected by Parkinson’s disease.
