Patriot Place Unveils New Pickleball Courts—Tournaments, Social Hub, and Year-Round Play Await

Patriot Place Pickleball Courts Opening: New outdoor pickleball courts are opening at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Massachusetts, just in time for weekend play. The courts, created through a partnership between Patriot Place and ELEVENO Pickleball, will officially open on Friday, followed by the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic on August 2 and 3.

Located in a converted parking lot across from Trader Joe’s and Restoration Hardware Outlet, the outdoor facility includes six professional pickleball courts, a shaded player lounge, and food and drink options. It will remain open for public use and programming through October, after which it will transform into the Winter Skate seasonal ice rink.

Pickleball Tournament Set for the Weekend

To celebrate the opening, the new courts will host the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic. The tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, giving players a chance to compete on the brand-new courts. After the event, players can sign up for court time and take part in scheduled pickleball programs.

The 17,000-square-foot space brings a fresh experience for pickleball fans during the warmer months. This setup offers players a social and active place to enjoy the sport, right in the middle of the popular Patriot Place shopping and entertainment area.

Indoor Courts Coming This Fall

For those who want to keep playing during colder months, an indoor pickleball facility is coming soon. Patriot Place and ELEVENO Pickleball have announced a new 40,000-square-foot indoor facility, expected to open this fall.

The new indoor courts will be built in the space once used by Christmas Tree Shops, located in the South Marketplace section of Patriot Place, right next to Trader Joe’s and Restoration Hardware Outlet.

According to officials, this indoor space will include nine professional courts, food and drink service, a Pro Shop, and areas for private events. Courtside seating and a full-service kitchen will give players and visitors a place to relax and socialize.

“Premier pickleball destination and social hub in the heart of Patriot Place,” officials said.

The design includes a café and bar at the center of the courts. Every court will have its own lounge area, where players can order snacks and drinks, enhancing the overall experience.

What This Means for Pickleball Players

The opening of both outdoor and indoor pickleball facilities shows how fast the sport is growing in the region. These courts at Patriot Place make it easier for people of all ages to enjoy the game all year.

The mix of quality courts, food options, and event spaces could attract beginners and experienced players alike. It also makes Patriot Place a new destination for people looking to combine sports, fun, and social time in one location.
