Elite Pickleball Showdown: PAB Summer 2025 Series Brings Top Talent to Bermuda This August

PAB Summer 2025 Elite Series Bermuda: The Pickleball Association of Bermuda will host the PAB Summer 2025 Elite Series for skill levels 4.0 and above on August 8 and 9 at W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium in Hamilton, Bermuda. The event will feature top-level pickleball players and is open only to members of the association.

The tournament is split into two main divisions: 4.0 (DUPR 4.00–4.50) and 4.5+ (DUPR above 4.50). Players may only register for one division within either gender or mixed doubles.

Tournament Format and Entry Details

The format includes set partner pool play followed by a single-elimination bracket. Players must register and pay as a team. Entry fees are $40 for one event and $60 for two events. Juniors aged 18 and under can play for free.

Payments must be made to the Bank of N.T. Butterfield. Full instructions, including the required reference format, are listed by the Pickleball Association of Bermuda.

All matches will take place at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium.

Schedule of Matches

The tournament will begin Friday, August 8, with Mixed Doubles at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, August 9, the action starts at 8:00 a.m. with:

  • Women’s 4.0 Doubles

  • Men’s 4.0 Doubles

At 11:00 a.m., the Men’s 4.5 Doubles will begin.
Match times and formats may change due to weather or number of entries.

Rules and Requirements

Only Pickleball Association of Bermuda members may participate. Players must have a DUPR profile. Results will be uploaded by tournament officials.

All players must check in at the Tournament Desk (courtside) dressed, equipped and ready to play at least 15 minutes before event time. Finals matches will follow a best 2-out-of-3 format, played to 11 points and won by 2. Tournament rules will be explained clearly before matches begin.

Tournament referees, including Sarah Fox and Gavin Manders, have full authority to maintain order. “The Tournament Referee is empowered to take whatever measures deemed necessary in the interest of the Tournament…”

Code of Conduct and Player Behavior

Players must wear proper attire. Inappropriate clothing may lead to disqualification.

The Pickleball Association of Bermuda has strict rules on behavior. “The Committee will not tolerate BAD MANNERS, PADDLE THROWING, BAD LANGUAGE, CHEATING, or POOR SPORTSMANSHIP! Any tournament official has the right to warn any player should he/she not conform to the required standards; and after such a warning, default the player should he/she commit a second offence.”

Roving umpires may be used throughout the tournament.

Privacy and Security

The tournament may collect player data such as name, contact info, partner name, and payment details.

“We use this information to provide you with tournament services.”

Any communication with the organizers may be stored for records. Player data may be shared with vendors, volunteers, or legal authorities if needed.

“We use reasonable measures to safeguard your personal data under our control. We cannot guarantee, however, that your information will remain secure.”

Players are encouraged to use caution when sharing information online.

No refunds will be issued after August 6, 2025.
