PickleRage Unveils Maryland’s Largest Indoor Pickleball Hub—Here’s Why Eldersburg Was Chosen

PickleRage Indoor Pickleball Carroll County: A new indoor pickleball facility is coming to Eldersburg, Maryland, as PickleRage plans to open its first franchise-owned location in the state. The facility is expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year at 1332 Londontown Boulevard, inside the Londontown Business Center.

PickleRage Expands in Maryland

PickleRage has signed a lease with K&S Londontown DE, LLC for 31,000 square feet of space. This marks the brand’s second location in Maryland, following a corporate-owned site in Glen Burnie. The Eldersburg site will be the first one operated by franchise owners Vishnu Reddy and John Bender.

The facility will include 10 indoor courts using CushionX surfaces. The building is two stories tall and features 24-foot ceilings, a renovated lobby, and a climate-controlled space. It also includes 34 dock doors, three drive-in bays, and ample parking.

Why Eldersburg Was Chosen

The new pickleball facility is located in a space that was carefully chosen to meet key needs. Dennis Boyle, an executive at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, shared why the location was ideal.

“1332 Londontown Boulevard satisfied every important criteria for a pickleball facility including high ceilings, immediately-available and wide column spacing, generous parking and a strategic location accessible by a large consumer market in Carroll County,” Dennis Boyle said.

A Growing Sports and Entertainment Hub

The new PickleRage location will join several other activity centers in the Londontown Business Center. These include Stratosphere Social, a place that combines a restaurant, bowling alley, arcade, and virtual reality room. Other nearby facilities are Elevate Fitness gym, New Level Basketball training camp, and Top Gun Batting Cages.

“Carroll County was in need of a high-quality pickleball facility and PickleRage is a proven operator,” Dennis Boyle said.

National Growth Plans for PickleRage

PickleRage is planning a large expansion across the country. According to MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, the brand wants to open 500 new locations in the next five years.

This Eldersburg location could be one of many that bring indoor pickleball to more communities across the U.S.
