Arizona State University Pickleball Event: Arizona State University’s Mullett Arena will become an indoor pickleball venue for the first time. From August 4 to August 12, 2025, the arena’s ice rink will be transformed into pickleball courts, offering players a way to enjoy the sport indoors and away from the summer heat.
Pickleball Comes to Mullett Arena
Located on the Arizona State University campus, Mullett Arena is usually home to ice hockey. But for nine days, it will switch gears to welcome the fast-growing sport of pickleball.
The court will be open for different types of play, including round-robin tournaments, team building sessions, private bookings, and open play. This gives both experienced players and newcomers a chance to participate.
Players can bring their own equipment or use paddles and balls provided at the arena. These will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices and Special Events
Courts can be rented for $40 per session. Players also have the option of paying a $10 drop-in fee per person.
A special event will take place on August 8 to celebrate National Pickleball Day. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., a round-robin tournament will be held. Teams of two will compete for a championship prize pack.
