Village Pickle Pickleball Facility: A new pickleball facility called Village Pickle is being planned for 3675 Southwest Troy Street in the Multnomah area of Portland. A liquor license application was recently submitted as part of the project. The site will include indoor courts, food carts, and a bar with both indoor and outdoor seating.
New Facility to Serve Growing Interest
The goal of Village Pickle is to create a community-focused pickleball space. The plan includes indoor space for players who can’t find courts at nearby Gabriel Park. The indoor area will seat 34 people, while the outdoor area will hold 76.
Food carts will be part of the design, although the exact carts have not yet been chosen. There will also be full food and drink service offered outdoors.
Surrounded by Local Hotspots
The planned facility will be located near several local businesses on Southwest Capitol Highway. These include Renner’s Grill, Fat Kitty Ramen, Yalla, and Level Beer: Level 2 Multnomah Village. This area is known for being a popular spot for dining and nightlife.
Village Pickle has not yet opened a social media page but is expected to share updates soon. The project is still in the early stages and waiting for approvals.
Expected Community Impact
As the demand for pickleball courts continues to grow, this new facility is expected to offer more access to indoor play and a social gathering space for players. With the added feature of food and drinks, Village Pickle may become a regular hangout for people in the area.
