Discover Pickleball: Chandler’s New Beginner Class Promises Fun, Skills, and Confidence This Fall

Chandler Beginners Pickleball Class Launch: A new beginner pickleball class will be held every Thursday morning from September 4 to September 25, 2025, at the Tumbleweed Recreation Center in Chandler. This class is designed for people who are new to pickleball and want to learn the basics. It will cover the rules, safety tips, scoring, and basic shots to help players get started.

Learn Skills Through Small Group Instruction

The sessions will take place in the TRC Gymnasium West, located at 745 East Germann Road. Kevin Simpson will be the instructor for the class, which runs from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Players will practice in small groups and work on drills that improve hand-eye coordination and keep the ball in play.

Build Confidence and Enjoy Recreational Play

This class helps beginners gain the skills and confidence needed to play pickleball for fun. By the end of the course, participants should feel ready to join recreational games and enjoy the sport with others in a friendly environment.
