Level Up Your Game: Pickleball 102 Class Launches This Fall at Forsythe Middle School

Pickleball 102 Class Launches: A new Pickleball 102 class for players from 10th grade to adults will start on September 17, 2025, at Forsythe Middle School in Ann Arbor. The class will run every Wednesday from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. until October 29, with a makeup class reserved for November 5.

Class Focus and Details

This class is designed for players who have learned the basics of pickleball and want to improve their skills. Under the guidance of certified instructor Karel Gatlin, participants will work on refining their strokes, improving shot placement, and mastering court positioning. The course includes seven sessions and promises both fun and a good workout.

Location and Registration

Classes will be held at the Forsythe Gym and the tennis courts at Forsythe Middle School, located at 1655 Newport Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Residents aged 65 and older within the Ann Arbor Public Schools (AAPS) district may qualify for a 25% discount on one class per term. To apply for this discount, registration must be done by phone at (734) 994-2300, ext. 0, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This class offers an excellent chance for players to build confidence and raise their game in a supportive setting.
