Legends and Trailblazers: Meet the 2025 Pickleball Hall of Fame Inductees Making History

Pickleball Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees: The Pickleball Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees: competitors Cammy MacGregor and Chris “Mills” Miller, along with contributor Melissa McCurley. They will be honored during an awards banquet in Surprise, Arizona, on November 5 and 6.

Chairperson of the selection committee and 2018 Hall of Fame inductee Fran Myer said, “The Selection Committee carefully reviews each nomination provided by the nomination committee, to make sure they meet the guidelines as individuals who have achieved exceptional results throughout their pickleball career, as well as those who have made extraordinary contributions to the growth, development, and leadership of the game. We are so proud of this year’s class. This class includes an early pioneer of the sport, a former top level tennis pro, and a former Navy Hospital Corpsman.”

Recognition from the Hall of Fame Board

John Gullo, 2024 Hall of Fame contributor inductee and president of the Pickleball Hall of Fame board of directors, said, “We offer sincere and enthusiastic congratulations to each of these incredible individuals. Their years of hard work and dedication to the sport, both as competitors and contributors, is a testament to the worldwide acceptance of Pickleball as a premiere sporting opportunity and inclusion activity. We look forward to honoring each at our annual awards banquet.”

About Chris “Mills” Miller

Chris Miller has earned over 100 career gold medals and is a 10-time National Champion. He was the Open Pro Singles Champion in 2010 and served as a high school PE teacher, introducing pickleball to hundreds of students. He also worked as Head Pickleball Pro at Bobby Riggs Racquet & Paddle for four years and was the 2023 NPL World Champion.

About Cammy MacGregor

Cammy MacGregor is a former professional tennis player who spent 10 years on the WTA tour. She began playing pickleball in 2015 and introduced the sport to members of Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California. She has won 22 major pickleball championships, including the 2018 US Open Senior Pro Singles, Tournament of Champions Doubles, USA Pickleball National Champions Senior Pro Doubles, and US Open Senior Pro Doubles.

About Melissa McCurley

Melissa McCurley, a former U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, entered pickleball in 2014 when she took over PickleballTournaments.com. She turned it into a leading global platform offering technology, consulting, and data services for the sport. She was the first female pickleball commentator for CBS Sports, was named the “Most Influential Person in Pickleball” by Sports Media, and received the 2022 US Open Impact Award.

The Pickleball Hall of Fame now has 33 members, recognizing players and contributors who have achieved exceptional results or made significant contributions to the sport’s growth and leadership. Pickleball continues to be the fastest-growing sport in the world.

News in Brief: Pickleball Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees

The Pickleball Hall of Fame will induct Cammy MacGregor, Chris “Mills” Miller, and Melissa McCurley in 2025. The ceremony will take place November 5–6 in Surprise, Arizona, honoring their achievements as players and contributors to the sport. This brings the Hall’s membership to 33 individuals worldwide.
