Pickleball: Free Get Fit St. Pete Class Welcomes Beginners to Bartlett Park

Get Fit St. Pete Pickleball Class: A free beginner pickleball class will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bartlett Park, 2000 7th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida. Hosted by Get Fit St. Pete, the class welcomes participants ages 16 and older and is open to all skill levels.

Monthly Community Event

This session is part of a recurring program held on the second Tuesday of each month. Instructors will teach the basics of pickleball, helping newcomers gain confidence and enjoy the sport in a friendly, no-pressure setting. Class size is limited to 16 participants, and registration is required.

Equipment and Location Details

The class will take place at the pickleball courts on the west side of the Bartlett Park parking lot. Paddles and balls are provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own. Those unable to attend after registering should email Dakota Priest at least 24 hours in advance to cancel.

Membership Requirement

Get Fit St. Pete now requires all participants to sign in digitally using a free Get Fit Membership for each class. Registration can be completed online before the event or in person by arriving early. This membership is open to anyone interested in attending monthly fitness events.
